looks like wednesday a weak system will visit us. otherwise it is cold out there with numbers dropping into the mid-30s. 63 napa. 34 degrees. in livermore don't have the fog yet but what about 37 degrees. and mid-40s at the coast. the warm spot oakland, san francisco, mid-and upper 40s. we are looking at that fog right now from our east bay to the north bay, but it is cloudy in san francisco. so we could see perhaps a few flight delays as the fog settles in and continues to be transported in from our east bay valleys. so with that, we are also looking at the gusty northeast winds from time to time. so that will keep it cooler by the delta, cooler in the inland valleys but everyone will enjoy sunshine and overall some mild temperatures with a system coming in from the north by tuesday and wednesday. that will drop our temperatures back into the 50s. so here's a look at what you can expect this morning. through the overnight hours, the fog sneaking our way from the sacramento to the san joaquin valley. a dense fog advisory through the

where the heaviest rain is up to the north of us. north of ukiah, along the north coast, crescent city, eureka, and this where is the leading edge of the cold front is right here. all of the moisture slides south so definitely increasing rain and wind overnight, heavy rain and wind expected tomorrow morning, and high winds and flooding is likely, especially low-lying areas and the higher elevations. here's a look at the wind speeds right now. gusts at 20 in novato. check out sfo, gusts to 31. winds picking up ahead to the cold front. half moon bay, 20 miles-per-hour gusts out the livermore valley. 21, san jose, 24 in heyward. so things are starting to change a bit. not a lot of wind out there earlier this evening but now as the front starts to make slow progress the south, the winds are picking up. in fact wind advisory until noon. the south winds, 20-30 miles-per-hour with gusts possibly as high as 60 miles-per-hour, and with the saturated ground we could have more downed trees, and that could cause down ud powerlines as well. this

that's where abc7 news reporter kera clapper is joining us live. what can you tell us this morning? >> well, carolyn, as i said about a half-hour ago, the wind is really picking up here. the rain has been steady. it's not very strong. but when the wind comes through and just gives you that gust, it feels really sharp and it's coming kind of diagonally right now. the main concern here is the river. so i'll get out of the way and let adam show it to you. there are conflicting reports this morning about when and where the napa river will overflow. original reports were that it would overflow about noon today. that's been pushed back to about five or six this evening. north of napa in saint helena another concern the river could rise about noon today. water heights could be anywhere between 25 and 27 feet. let's get back to that wind. as nick mentioned, as lisa mentioned, as carolyn mentioned, we have video from the wind whipping through downtown napa about an hour and a haling a blowing oftennings and decorations at businesses. at a self-serve sandbag location the wind is blowing the r
